Breaking new ground in India's urban landscape, one of our recent endeavors marked the introduction of the first-ever multi-level car park designed and constructed in the country. Collaborating closely with the project owner and contractor, TRC Parkitects spearheaded the establishment of a precast plant, meticulously adhering to PCI standards—a testament to our commitment to quality and innovation.
Distinguished by its seamless integration of form and function, the multi-lane and multi-level express ramps effortlessly navigated seven levels of flat plate parking, ensuring optimal accessibility and efficiency for users. To preserve valuable parking space, columns were strategically positioned outward, minimizing their impact and maximizing available space—a thoughtful design feature that set our project apart.
Elevating the user experience further, exterior shear walls adorned with large openings created unobstructed interior sightlines, fostering a sense of openness and connectivity. Designed as an open structure, our car park harnessed natural lighting and ventilation, enhancing both sustainability and user comfort.
Embracing a holistic approach to sustainability, our project encompassed a range of eco-friendly features. From occupancy sensors and LED lights to rainwater harvesting and a top-level photovoltaic system, every aspect of the design reflected our client's unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship and resource efficiency.
