Nestled within the vibrant landscape of Irvine, California, the Los Olivos II Phase 1 & 2 Parking Structure project is a testament to innovation and community development. Since its inception in 2016, this expansive project, spanning an impressive 576,442 square feet, has been a beacon of progress, shaping the residential landscape of the area.
Comprising Parking Structures 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, Phase 1 and 2 of the Los Olivos II project represent the latest additions to the existing residential community. These rectangular structures, seamlessly integrated into their respective apartment complexes, serve as essential amenities for residents while enhancing the overall appeal of the development.
Situated south of the 405 freeway and west of Irvine Center Drive, the Los Olivos II Phase 1 & 2 Parking Structures are easily accessible via a private U-shaped Road with two entrances, Gitano and Molino, from Encanto Drive. This strategic location ensures convenience and ease of access for residents while maintaining a sense of exclusivity and privacy.
Each parking structure is meticulously designed to prioritize the comfort and convenience of residents. While structures 1, 4, and 5 are open and naturally ventilated, structures 2 and 3 are enclosed, offering mechanical ventilation supplemented by natural air and light. Direct access from residential units to each level of the parking structures further enhances convenience and security for residents, ensuring a seamless living experience.
Safety is paramount throughout the design and construction of the parking structures. With a minimum of 9’ head clearances throughout all five cast-in-place concrete structures, ample light is provided without compromising on visual clarity—a testament to the commitment to safety and well-being.
Collaborating closely with residential architects, TRC Parkitects ensured that the project maintained the client's trademark standard of class A designs and finishes. This collaborative approach not only ensures consistency in design but also enhances the overall aesthetic and appeal of the residential community.
As the Los Olivos II Phase 1 & 2 Parking Structure project continues to unfold, it stands as a shining example of thoughtful urban planning and community-centric design. With a focus on innovation, convenience, and safety, this project is poised to leave a lasting legacy in the vibrant city of Irvine.
