Scripps Green Parking Structure
The Scripps Green Parking Structure was delivered under a design-build format, providing 797 stalls on four levels, and built into a hillside to minimize its visual impact within the campus environment. The facility includes a modern stall-finding system and enhanced signage to improve ease of use. It also meets the client's specific requirements for segregated parking for hospital employees and visitors.
Pedestrian access to and from parked vehicles is inviting and efficient, with pedestrian cores pulled off the structure's face to give them a distinct identity within the development.
High-speed traction glass-backed elevators and escalators were installed in these cores, offering generous circulation and gathering spaces equipped with music and visual media. The architectural design complements existing buildings, ensuring a cohesive campus relationship for this remote structure.
