Uptown Orange Apartments Parking Structure
The Uptown Orange Apartment and Hotel Project is strategically located at the crossroads of The City Drive and Dawn Way in Orange, California. The project includes 698 apartment units and 494 hotel rooms, supported by a seven-level parking structure.
This flat-plate parking structure is designed to match the floor-to-floor heights of the apartment buildings and is divided into two sections: one for hotel guests and one for apartment residents. Both sections share common ingress and egress, with residential parking internally nested and separated from the hotel parking area.
The parking structure is wrapped by the upscale residential community on the south side and offers amenities such as bicycle repair, pet grooming, secure storage facilities, and enhanced lobby connections to the apartments.
The north side provides convenient parking for the adjacent hotel. Classified as an S-2 enclosed structure, the parking facility features type 1B construction, full sprinkler systems, and natural ventilation from the north and east elevations. The project integrates combined building systems while maintaining distinct fire areas for safety.
